What is the Mentorship?
The Character Studio Mentorship is an ambitious 12 week program that centers around a finely tuned week to week structure where Charles, walks you through his process of developing and realizing a 3D Character from 2D concept all the way to final render.

There is no better way to learn, than to see something in practice and participate in real discussions about the why’s and the when’s at those crucial moments so that you fully understand how. This is what makes live demonstrations for each lesson so valuable.
Personalized Feedback
Some of the best learning opportunities are when real feedback is offered on your work - feedback that helps not only with artistic direction so that you find an impressive interpretation of your 2D concept, but also to help breakthrough technical roadblocks that might hinder your progress. The weekly critiques specialize in keeping your progress steady and focused as you work towards a beautiful final 3D character.

Sometimes it takes a village. Being part of a class environment with other like-minded artists not only provides inspiration, but often the support from your peers creates a team setting where everyone is there to push everyone to succeed. This is that “extra something” that helps keep us moving forward, accountable, and motivated. With the Mentorship, you become an active part of the Discord channel.

The Goal is to create a beautifully polished character to sit proudly in your portfolio. In the 12 weeks, I will guide you through my process, from sculpting and modeling, lookdev and groom, and lastly preparing our presentation. What you put in is what you get from it, so I will help you stay motivated, and accountable as we each inspire the other.
Begins 09/20/26 Each week begins on Sunday (9am PST) with a Live Demo which establishes the plan for the week, and concludes on Saturday (9am PST) for live Critique and Feedback. The classes are set up via a Zoom Meeting which is scheduled in advance for each session. Enrollment period is between 08/21/26 and 09/19/26 Limited Seats!
